DESCRIPTION:Das ERC-Projekt ARITHMETIC widmet sich den frühesten handschriftlich überlieferten arithmetischen Texten in deutscher Sprache. Ziel des Projekts ist es\, diese Texte für die Forschung über eine digitale Edition zu erschließen und die Rechenbücher unter anderem in Hinblick auf ihre narratologische Relevanz zu untersuchen. \nIn unserem Workshop “Zahlreiche Erzählungen” erhoffen wir uns sowohl Anregungen zu den Forschungsfragen\, die im Laufe unserer Projektarbeit entstanden sind\, als auch Einblicke in Ihre eigene Herangehensweise an narratologische Forschung und Sachverhalte. Zentral sind dabei die Frage nach dem Verhältnis von Erzählung und Praxiskontext sowie nach Formen und Funktionen des Erzählens in didaktischen Texten\, die auf den ersten Blick nur wenige narrative Elemente enthalten. Dabei interessiert uns\, wie die Vermittlung von mathematischem Wissen in einzelnen Textbausteinen und dem gesamten Text erzählerisch organisiert ist.
