SUMMARY:ARITHMETIC: Concluding project conference
DESCRIPTION:The ERC project “ARITHMETIC. German Arithmetical Treatises in Manuscripts of the Late Middle Ages (1400‒1570)” will host its final conference in Innsbruck from November 3 to 5\, 2026.\nOur focus\, both in terms of content and methodology\, is on arithmetic manuscripts from the Late Middle Ages\, examined from historical\, cultural\, literary\, and editorial perspectives\, with a strong emphasis on the digital humanities. Presentations will address arithmetic books as well as other texts based on the quadrivium\, along with mathematical topics and specialized literature (and its didactics). A detailed conference program will follow. \n
